FAQs
We try to see all patients in a timely manner. However, patients may not always be called in the order they arrive for several reasons:
- Certain medical conditions require a faster response than others;
- Some patients may only need to see the nurse, or get an X-ray or lab work;
- Or, we now have Hold My Spot, a 24/7 online scheduling tool that allows patients to choose a convenient time for their visit. (Visit any of the center pages on our website and click the green “Hold My Spot” button to book your visit.)
If you have insurance, please bring your insurance card. If you are 18 years of age or older, you must provide a valid photo ID. If you are under age 18, a guardian must be present at the time of treatment and provide a valid photo ID.
In addition, bring the name, dosage and directions for any medications you take.
If the provider determines you need to be seen by a specialist, we will make a recommendation for you. We typically arrange your appointment with one of our trusted specialists, or a specialist of your choice.
Through My Health Portal, you can view your health information, including X-ray and other test results, at your convenience anywhere from an internet-enabled device. Simply tell the front desk team you’re interested in signing up for My Health Portal. Once you provide your email address, we will email you a sign-up link. (The email will be from no-reply@healthdataexchange.com, so check your “Junk” folder if you don’t see it in your inbox.) Once you create an account, you can log in to view documents or any messages. You’ll receive an email notice when you have an item to view in your portal. And if you want to forward your records to another physician, simply click the “Forward” button and you can email that document.
Our Family of Centers provide affordable healthcare by compassionate staff at 1/8 to 1/10 the cost of typical Emergency Room charges.
To serve our patients affordably, we offer Secure Pay, a safe credit card payment option. Secure Pay provides a convenient and secure method for you to pay your insurance deductible and coinsurance prior to service. Additionally, your credit card will be used to pay any remaining balances your insurance does not cover. How it works:
- At check-in, you will receive an authorization form asking you to enroll in Secure Pay.
- A front desk team member will swipe your card, which will securely store your credit card information in an encrypted format, a process called tokenization. Rest assured your card information is encrypted and inaccessible by any team member. Only the last four digits of your card number can be seen for verification purposes.
- After your visit, we will submit your medical claim to your insurance company for the services we provided. Once your insurance company pays its contracted portion, you will receive a statement in the mail explaining the portion your insurance paid and what (if any) balance is your responsibility.
- You will then have two weeks from the statement date to either arrange for another method of payment or request more information regarding the bill. If we have not received payment after two weeks, Secure Pay will charge your credit card for the balance due.
In most cases, yes. We are skilled to evaluate most patients and if we are not the best provider to handle your health concerns, we can recommend a referral to an internal medicine or family medicine doctor who would be better suited to handle your condition or conditions.
Yes, all of our centers are authorized providers which allow eligible veterans to visit participating urgent care centers for their urgent care needs without pre-authorization or an appointment. Learn more about the program and eligibility by visiting MissionAct.VA.Gov.
We accept most major insurances, TRICARE and VA, Medicare and Medicaid (for the state in which you are being seen in). We also accept cash, checks, credit cards, and Health Savings Account cards. Note: ARKids requires a physician referral in advance of the visit.
If an X-ray is needed, a team member will come to your exam room. If there is any possibility you could be pregnant, it is important for you to inform the team member. After explaining what X-ray you will have, you will be escorted to the X-ray room. You will need to remove any jewelry, or clothing that may interfere. A private area is provided for you to remove any clothing, if necessary. When completed, you can redress. After the provider reviews the X-ray, he or she will share the findings with you in the exam room.
